what is
hamun?

HAMUN (Houston Area Model United Nations)  is an annual MUN conference for high school students. HAMUN is the oldest and one of the largest high school conferences in the Southwestern United States.

"We need to recognize and re-pledge ourselves to teaching understanding and tolerance of other people's and other countries cultures and histories and points of view:  it is far better to talk together, to seek areas of agreement and compromise than to fight or terrorize.  Peace is no longer a lovely and dove-like dream;  it is a necessity for survival."
